It is true though - we all have our own visions of who Severus / Sirius (others) should be like in the past (to make them who they are in cannon) or else those alternative universe paths I so enjoy walking down. Because you are right, often times I read Severus fics and I’m just outraged, “Severus would never submit himself like that!” and so on.
Still, thank you for your insight - and I’ll consider it when working on future projects.
