ok first lol at this: "he felt her tears wetting his cheeks - or were these his own tears? " our good old Jack jearing ;) it cracked me up...

Then it was a great chapter bb, the whole interaction about James and Miles was not too much, not to little, just the needed amount, and well explained... :)
And the rest of the chapter ♥ I can't believe i'm shipping this two...
and this:
It was almost as if his subconscious had already known what would happen today.
Everything happened for a reason and coincidences didn’t exist … Not in his world.

I just finished reading it. I'm jearing right now. This story is epic!! I hope we have to write a crack!fic as a team at some point of this phase. Because you two are so good at it ;)

Ok first Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace I LOVE ♥ ♥ ♥ (at least if you got it from the Foo Fighters. I love them)

But this chapter was so sweet. I especially loved this

“Maybe. I don’t know,” Jack said. “But I do know that - should there be such a thing as an afterlife - I would definitely want to spend it with someone I love.”
“And who would that be?”
“Someone like you.” He grinned and gave her a soft kiss

Yes, I think it's from the Foo Fighters. I'm using episode titles of "One Tree Hill" for this series, but since they use song titles, I'm sure it the one from the Foo Fighters. I thought it would work for this chapter ;(

LOVE IT. I like that you made it a more casual proposal, instead of him going down on one knee all planned out. This seemed so real and so Jack. <33 And Juliet's reaction was super sweet, I love how flustered she was about it. :DD Yay! Now we can move on to the babyyyyy! *one track mind*

Favorite line ever: "Both had a dark tan and looked like Hollywood cops - or actors filming a movie."

HEHEHE, OH YOU. :P That is exactly how I pictured it before you wrote it. I love how James is like the super-cop (as he should be), and his lines were spot-on. This makes me want to watch "Recon" again, because I lovvvvve the sideways!cops. :DD

You did? *is relieved* Thank you ;) I thought it would be best to write such a proposal instead of a normal one. It worked better for them (I think/hope).
But we have to wait a bit longer for David. Jack is already thinking in the right direction, but first we will get the wedding. And they still need to move in together. I need to chat with Richard about that. He needs to take care of Rachel ;) But the baby is already on the way (= planned out in my head) *g*

I knew I was going to have to wait for David, and I can't wait to see the wedding! But I am baby-crazy, I love themmmm! Whenever I see a cute baby at work I want to just scoop them up out of the cart! I just can't wait to imagine Jack holding baby David. :D

SERIOUSLY, GIRL, THAT GIF. HOT DAMNN. I remember watching that scene for the first time with my boyfriend and another guy-friend, and I was drooling at the screen and squealing, lol. :P His abs are, like...glistening. :DD

I just love that you added Miles into the mystique of a "Hollywood" cop, because he's not as typically handsome as Josh Holloway is, but I do love his adorableness. :D

Gosh, I think this is my favorite one of the series so far. I loved especially the philosophical discussion, the impulsiveness of Jack's proposal, and the way his insecurities threaded through all of it.

What's so amazing about this is that it's an in-character out-of-character moment that feels really true to Jack's psyche. Juliet's surprised reactions to his sudden spontaneity seemed just right too. ♥

A 'real' (cheesy) proposal didn't feel right for me so I went with that one. I'm glad that I'm not the only one thinking it worked better that way.
