9 Colourless (as we spell it here!)
Grey morning, grey cat, grey scale!
21 Earth
Autumn ploughing had just finished here. Earth to infinity.
33. Concrete
The pattern of the wooden planks used for shuttering when this concrete was poured are still clear forty years later.
35. Rush
A bulrush, to be exact! Very plush looking and velvety.
49 Dark
From the dark of a multi-storey car park, looking out to daylight (and Gloucester Cathedral!).
51 Garbage
Waiting for the binmen to arrive.
59 Two
Two swans, who, as it happens, appear to be the shape of a 2! And yes, there are bulrushes growing in their pond. The swans were pure bonus!
82 Hazy
It was a grey morning outside, too, today.
85 Swarm
Kit Williams wrote and illustrated this beautiful book (this illustration is actually marquetry!), and you had to work out the title from the puzzle which is the story. I did it many years ago and - sorry - have forgotten it again!! But exquisite illustrations anyway. And bees!
89 Distance
So many distances to choose from. Take your pick!
That's all for now, folks. hope you enjoy!
