Thank you so much, I do appreciate your encouraging comments. The opportunity to play on words is fun! I have to admit I love Concrete too, this is a wall I must have walked past hundreds of times over the last 30 years without noticing this! Although it's a bit small in the post, I found that if I clicked on it three times, it really came up big so the detail can be seen. Who would have thought concrete could be so beautiful?
Going back to (try to) link previous posts, I found that I had very rudely not thanked you for your comment! Seems longer ago than yesterday somehow! Glad you like, one of the swans was quite aggressive and started to clamber out of the water towards me at one point but when I backed off he swam off with his mate and allowed me to take a picture. They look gorgeous but they can be quite vicious. Ah, the things we do for Art - Quite apart from me standing in decent work shoes (a detour to a likely pond, on my way back from a meeting), in rain and soggy grass trying to get close enough to photograph a rush and not fall in, after circling the said pond looking for the rush closest to the edge. Anyone watching must have thought I was mad! lol
We have Trumpeter Swans that winter here, it's too early for them yet, but I know how they can be. Unfortunately they aren't quite as lovely when they are standing in my neighbors cornfield as they are when they are on water! My postal carrier delivered our mail the other day while I was out in my workout shorts (I was on a mission and didn't have time to change) and my rubber (wellington) boots slogging out to the silo. I'm sure she thought I was quite mad!
Oh, what a wonderful vision that conjures of you in your shorts and wellies heading off for the silo! I think we are both getting a lot of pleasure out of this challenge!
