Oh. My. Goodness. I have been looking for this fic forever. I forgot to comment/save it when I read it the first time.

Finally found it thanks to the spnroundtable rec.

Anyway, this is a wonderfully written fic. The tone is flawless and the imagery is right on. We never saw this character on screen, but it comes to life amazingly through this fic. Great story!
