It took three days to wash the blood from Dad's floor. It will take even longer to wash away the memory of his death.
When the cops asked about his collection of weapons, she shrugged. “He liked hunting.”
Which was true.
After finals, she came home to Mom and Dad--not the one who had his throat slit, the one who married her mom when she was six.
They tried to make her forget, but she couldn't. Her dad's killer was still out there.
And no matter what, she would find him because like Dad, she also liked to hunt.
