Would you like to affiliate with first_order?

It's a struggle to keep that community going as well but I just try to come up with as many off-the-wall writing challenges as possible. One of the things that I did for awhile and decided to start again is a "Spotlight Member" each month. It just gives members a reminder about someone they might want to write.

That sounds like an interesting idea. Perhaps you and I could put our heads together on occasion to help our respective communities stay alive. I get good ideas sometimes, but I've been having a dry spell lately.

That sounds like a great idea! I'd love someone to bounce things off of. I'm hoping the HP fandom will experience a surge again as the last two movies come out. Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to gather up some new members and/or excellent stories?

Dry spells happen. I've found that I have to be away from my communities from time to time just to keep perspective. A lot of times I run into ideas that seem really great in my head but flop because it doesn't fly with the writers in the community at the time. Oh well! I just throw my hands up and try something new.

And don't you hate when you ask for ideas and you can suddenly hear the crickets? Happens to me all the time!
