Its been almost 6 months since I moved to California... It is certainly not the east coast but its growing on me.  Work keeps me busy, and so does school.  I met an amazing guy which makes things here much more pleasant as well.  I cant access LJ from work, but Im going to make an effort to login more often and catch up on all of you guys and make ( Read more... )

Made it to Cali on May 5th, after driving through the death storm in Tennessee.  I  am definately NOT fond of this state or majority of the people here, I hope it grows on me or its going to be a long miserable tour

Wow, I havent been on here in quite a while.  I start my drive to California on Friday and should be there Monday night or Tuesday morning.  Im really nervous about moving cross country alone with no family or friends and very sad to leave the amazing friends I have here on the east coast :(

For those of you fans that don't already know, just before Christmas, Bettie (who is 84 years old now) was admitted to a hospital, suffering from a combination of pneumonia and a kidney infection. Bettie has improved slightly but is still unable to speak. In mid-January, she was moved to a nursing home where she is still receiving a lot of care. ( Read more... )
