oh the things you learn from playing resident evil 4 for hours on end. of course, if you play resident evil 4, you would know that they aren't actually zombies, but rather spaniards who are particulary hostile and inexplicably pissed off. i figured that was just the french, but i guess i shouldn't rule out the rest of the world's desire to hate

The fact that her mother is dying does not give her the right to be a giant raging bitch towards random people. Speaking as someone who cares for the actively dying of the world, or at least, the Portland Metro area, I can tell you that a lot of people will respond in that manner, regardless of the fact that they have no right to do so.

That being said, it is a lot easier to be more willing to deal with someone's BS if you know they are going through a tough time. Prior to the landlord coming over and telling you what was going on, you had no idea that anything aside from her being chock-full-o'-crazy was happening. Don't feel bad about being annoyed by her crazy shit, she was legitimately being crazy! Anyone would have responded exactly as you did. Perhaps even worse.

I was going to ask you if Ben and I could crash at your place on Saturday if we don't feel like driving back to Portland, but now I'm not sure I want to. I don't want to get soaked in residual crazy vibes! Feeble man, feeble.
