It was my birthday yesterday.....I guess I had tried to put it out of my mind since it was the first I've spent without my family. Mother usually makes a very elaborate traditional meal, Father reminds me about the responsibility of getting older, and Hazue gives me a bad time (like a little brother should). I was able to speak with the owner of the petting zoo in the park not far from St. Benedict's. Seems I will be able to help out on Sundays and when I have time during the rest of the week. He wants to make sure it doesn't interfere with school or tennis...which is very kind of him.

I guess this is supposed to be team building or some such thing...what harm can it do, I guess.

Give me the names of three people I know. I will pick one to marry, one to have sex with, and one to push off a cliff. No divorce for the first option, only once for the second option, and they die for the third option.

Still not quite convinced I'll fit in well here but things seem a little more positive.  I did manage to stay out of the way of the majority of the pranks this past week.
