- I'm waiting for next fall when I'll be taking "fun" classes and will have little to no reading. THEN I'll be able to run back to my bookshelf and weep with joy.

It's really a testament to a band when a live performance can create brand new fans. Not only do they have to perform their songs well, but they have to have the charisma and that (because I can't think of what else to call it) rock star quality to make people want to listen to, and find out, more.
I am going to do my best to catch them during this tour!
When I was considering the film major and taking the classes, the same jaded feeling was happening with movies. It would be presumptuous of me to say that the educational system is failing me; I think I'm just lacking in the mental capabilities to be able to get anything out of school.
Icky Thump is just too good Seriously. The album needs to get here already. Or at least a couple of leaks, just to help make the wait a less torturous.

A similar thing happened to me and films when I was doing my degree. I think post college you will find a new love for books.
