I have identified 46 active fannish Secret Santa projects for 2006. Why do people so rarely post links to stories on lj with ?mode=reply appended? For one, this makes giving feedback easier (you get to the end of the story, and a feedback form is right there! empty and waiting for you to fill it!) If people are having a discussion about the ethics/sociological implications of obscure cultural practice X, what does an innocent bystander think she is adding to the discussion by saying, "It's beyond me why anyone would want to engage in obscure cultural practice X."?
