The Stand RP
Seiyoku and I have been drunkenly discussing this forever - who doesn't love a good zombie story? I thought I'd put this up incase there is anyone who is into RP's who might want to bring a jpop muse in. We've got Yamapi and Jin, and if I could handle more muses than I already have I would SO be taking Nagase, Ryo, and Mr Sakurai Sho but thems the breaks I guess. Since it's all new you can pretty much get whatever muse you want, YEY. Hope some of you check it out!

The Premise
Tokyo. 2013. A future not unlike the present day.
With one exception.
Thirty- two hours ago, an epidemic was announced.
Twenty-nine hours ago, sirens went off.
Not much is known about the virus. TV and Radio continue to broadcast, updating those who care to still listen on the latest findings of the infection. Is it airborne, or spread through water? Is it like all the movies where infection only occurs through bites and the exchange of saliva? How long does it take for the virus to completely take over? The survivors just don’t know.
All they do know is that those infected are smart. And fast. They don’t move with the staggering hobble of a dead creature. They run, they jump and they climb. They lay traps and stalk their pray. Those newly turned can talk, and they can lie and they take pleasure in spreading the infection to others.
Of course, evacuation centres appeared in Shinjuku and Shibuya. One was established in Ueno only to fall to a swarm of infected within the hour. Sadly, it was only a matter of time before the other two were breached as well. Yet still people rushed to the apparent safety, only to find death and infection behind closed doors.
There is nothing anyone can do to stop the spread of the virus. The future looks bleak. The number of survivors are dwindling by the hour and those alive know that it is only a matter of time before things go from bad to worse. The power will eventually go out, food can’t last forever and no one knows if the water is safe to drink.
And all the while the panic and fear gets worse.
The Muse hunt
Almost anything goes. Jrock, Jpop. Korean and Chinese; male or female. We will even allow a small handful of Western muses (obviously living as expats in Tokyo) just to make the setting even more realistic.
What we are looking for, however, are muses with a difference. Make them pop, make them stand out; give them quirks and flaws, strengths and shortcomings. Not everyone is a hero when the chips are down. Not everyone can keep their cool under intense circumstances. Not everyone can look after themselves. Make allegiances, form bonds. Keep them or break them? Sell out your friends for your own safety or be a martyr?
Let’s try and make this as real as possible.
What we are aiming to achieve…
The mods at The Stand are a little bit different. They like storylines that can’t be told between just two people. They like things that progress, things that get scary and violent instead of mushy and slashy.
And so they have created this world for you and your muses. A place unlike any other where every choice a muse makes impacts upon the plot.
What do you want to do? More importantly, what do your muses want to do? Will they fall prey to the infected and become a brainless vassal craving food, hell bent on eliminating the human species. Or will they remain alive and struggling against the odds? Will they fight for every single scrap of humanity that they have left and band together to carve out a safe haven, free of infection? Will they go crazy and turn against the dead and living alike, seeing only profit in war and destruction?
Your choices will shape the outcome of this board. Will humanity stay alive, or will they all fall?
