LJ rant
Ughhh! What the frakkin’ frak is the point of posting something in a public community when you’re post is friends locked?! It frustrates the bejesus out of me! I was trying to view some pics from fridaynight_tv which led to some personal locked LJ *anger* Really, this is just pointless - public community, private post? WTF?! I rarely friend people unless I know them well, so I ain’t gonna friend people to see *one* post! Sure there are some reasons for some people, and that is understandable I suppose. As indicated in my userinfo I have about eight friends. I hate to flood my friends page with random people I don’t even know. It’s the same for icons too, it sometimes annoys the crap outta me. I guess it’s kinda ok, if I had to join a community, but a personal journal where I have to friend them (so it goes on my friends page) is a no no for me if it’s just a one-off. Or even get people to friend me to see their posts, only to be kicked off their flist later on for non-commenting on other posts. Yeah, yeah I know its takes a few seconds to friend and defriend people, but really guys, just make life easier by making an entry public, otherwise don’t post in a public community at all.
