It's almost that time of year, folks. And by that, I mean time to swim in Lake Michigan. A week and a half to go until this year's fiasco. My biggest complaint is that it's just not cold enough. Today it's going to be in the mid 40s. Looking ahead, we can expect some snow and tapering temperatures after the 26th, but I'd like an actual COLD dive one of these years. Like, single digit temps.

This year's costume theme among my (rather large, for a change) group of friends is going to be "Happy New Year 1937". We're getting (or making) olde time, woolen, one piece bathing suits, complete with moustaches, monacles, swim caps, and whatever else we can come up with. I had thought it might be fun to get a six person bike to drive down to the beach, but that might prove rather difficult and costly.

Anyways, as you can tell, I'm getting pretty excited for the event, and just wanted to share.
