I have nothing terribly interesting to say, so here are a few pictures.

Also, during the Inferno test, I managed to remember which character was in charge of deciding where souls went (King Minos). I attribute this fortitous brainwave to a) the Inferno meme and b) all the retellings of the Hades and Persephone myth I read for fun.

I've been noticing something bizarre; Mordred is canonically fair-haired, but every picture of him I've seen shows him with black hair. My mental image of him includes black hair, which is weird, because while I don't remember any particular description in Malory or Tennyson, White calls him practically albino and Marion Zimmer Bradley gives him ( Read more... )

We carved pumpkins at the library (I'm doing an awful lot of pumpkin-carving this year...) and since they were supposed to have a literary theme, I made a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy pumpkin with Stef. I made the pattern myself, and we both hacked it out.
