I went and got a Facebook. Try not to stalk me.

Also, during the Inferno test, I managed to remember which character was in charge of deciding where souls went (King Minos). I attribute this fortitous brainwave to a) the Inferno meme and b) all the retellings of the Hades and Persephone myth I read for fun.

I wish our school dances were more like the Father-Daughter Dance my girl scout troop hosts. The F-D dance has better music, for one, and more space for me to cut loose. Of course, the games the DJs start aren't really that entertaining if you're in high school, but that's the price you've got to pay, I guess ( Read more... )

With probably no financial aid for the first year unless someone they're giving financial aid to dies over the summer, and though I am in many respects a terrible person, there is no way I would wish for that. So this silver lining does indeed have a dark cloud attached.

Malory is more entertaining than I thought he'd be, but I'm pretty sure that most of what I think is funny wasn't intended to be so. First he tells us Morgan le Fay learned necromancy in a nunnery, then he informs us that in the olden days, hermits were actually useful (that last is a paraphrase)... and also Galahad is randomly alive for no reason ( Read more... )
