partially moved in
I am suddenly super-tired.
I'm sort of moved-in now, which is to say that I moved a lot of the belongings left in the room, (consolidating them into one of my boxes) made my bed, set up my bedside table and the desk, put my stuff in the bathroom, moved my awesome chair into my bedroom, and made delicious scrambled eggs out of stuff I'd bought previously + kitchen leftovers from the previous occupants.
I still have to unpack a lot of things, the most urgent being an outfit for working at the store tomorrow. Everything else can wait.
I didn't get the Weitzman Agency internship. But at least they said they really liked me and wished they could have taken more than one person on, and that they'd be in touch if something came up and they needed another person or something like that. This was about what I was expecting, and I think the jewelry store needs me throughout the summer anyway, so it could be worse. And at least I'm learning new stuff, even if it's just how to do retail, and it's a kind of artsy & crafty store.
