I talked in math today. Kind of. More than I usually do. And I am prepared to talk more on Thursday. It will happen!
I got my language paper back and aside from the introduction, which I am fully willing to admit is a load of whiny crap that should have been cut, Mr. Pichanick liked it. I also like it, as it discusses power and reputation and has a couple good lines in it. We had a good conversation about it, and then he asked me about what I thought of French class. I told him that I was kind of bored because I already knew French, but I'd been trying to come up with ways to participate and help people instead of just sitting there and being bored. I think maybe we might start writing sentences that explain or point out important grammatical things on the board more often, which would be excellent. I think it's pretty helpful, because as Mr. McFarland says, it's nice to have everyone looking (and commenting on/editing/drawing) in the same direction, on the same thing.
And then on my way back to Gilliam from my paper conference, I ran into Alex L. and Kator, and we talked about the Aeneid and fate and greek tragedy for fifteen minutes. :D
