Somehow, I made it through the week of insanity.

Tuesday: Guest at lunch, then journey up to SF to hang out with abyssinia4077. It took me just under an hour to get up there, which is a friggin' miracle at that time of day. There were pupusas and pie. Mmmm ( Read more... )

Wednesday: Went out to dinner with a bunch of current and former co-workers. Giant gourmet burgers. Om nom nom. So of course, there were burgers offered at lunch the next two days.

Friday: Joined lanna_kitty, her co-workers, and nostrademons for Daybreakers, which I'd never heard of before and which is totally ridiculous in a gratuitously gorey way. XD I preferred ( Read more... )

lanna_kitty and I went to Maker Faire today! It was fun and there will be pictures, but not right now. Clearly having done my research, I didn't realize most of the event was outdoors and neglected to put on any sunscreen. Now I have a red face and arms (below the t-shirt line, of course), and an unfortunate headache.

But yay, fun times! More tomorrow.

I'm 90% certain I'll be going to StarFest in April, to try and catch in person, at least once, the elusive Katee Sackhoff, among other joys of fannishness and t00bery. I got taken out by a bike today (yes, I was riding it; no, it was not my bike), but due to friends and food, today fell decidedly into the column of WIN. :-D
