Home, of course, and back into the swing of things. Around 2PM on Monday, still being at work got hard, but Tuesday was more survivable. Monday was also made better by dinner with the visiting
ladyaeryn!
I realize now that I forgot to post my thoughts about Like Crazy. I had lots of thoughts, and now that it's over a week later, I've forgotten most of them. If you're worried (like I was) that the trailer basically gives the movie away, it's not that simple, nor are the scenes necessarily in their proper order. Also, there was surprise!River Song! The best description I can give is
that it goes from being about the best relationship in the world to being about the worst relationship in the world. Watching that unfold was interesting and engaging, so I'd recommend it.
Saturday, of course, I saw The Muppets with my family, and it was delightful. It was everything I wanted. All of my favorites had good scenes and the new additions to the family were fantastic, too. I loved that it really was about the Muppets, not hyper-focused on the human characters, and everyone was so happy to be there that it brought me unending glee. I want to see it again, but I have a long list.
Also, my Hunger Games prediction came true, and the last sister tore through the first. Fortunately, she has a Kindle of her own, so I could use the lending feature and not have to sacrifice my device. Consequently, I was able to finish my book on the plane home and start the next: Middlesex, which I'd never gotten around to before.
A loud, strong gust of wind just managed to disturb the blinds on a supposedly closed window. I hope there's internet in Oz.
