Thing were pretty quiet in the car from then on, until Brian spoke up after a few minutes, “Hey, Dyl, is that a Libertyville squad car over there, by the side of the road on the edge of the grass?”

I blame the need for speed and word count.

I really would love to wrestle my NaNo Novel to the ground and/or challenge it to a duel and shoot it in the foot. Oh, alas, when did zombie back story take over my novel? This second chapter is like a novel all on its own. Does it end? Please say yes, and please say soon.

Something good has come of this endless second chapter-ness.

I'm just a little bit blackened today. I wrote a full eight pages of Prague in my notebook, but I've been so swamped that I haven't got the chance to type it up. Blargg.
