NaNoWriMo is here!
That's right, NaNoWriMo has come to town, and yes, once again, and for the third time, I am participating. The lovely banner which I have posted above is by et13_icons .
This is my NaNo Journal and Zombie Days is my attempt at a win.
If you are not sure what Zombie Day is about, here is the synopsis from my NaNo profile.
Two high school seniors, Dylan and Brian, witness their hometown being attacked and taken over by a zombie hoard. Armed with The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead, The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook and the keys to Brian's Dad's Thunderbird they set out into the wilderness on a quest to save their city.
The first synopsis of Zombie Days I ever wrote.
My main characters are Dylan Frazier and Brian Merritt. They are best friends and have been since forever. Dylan is loud, blonde, and sarcastic. Brian is shy, geeky, though with Dylan he is much more outgoing. Dylan comes from a family of Irish/Scot/Viking alcoholics. Brian's mom is a cookie cutter replica of June Cleaver (Leave It to Beaver) and his dad is more interested in cars than what his son wants. As long as Brian gets good grades, he is ignored by his father. Brian is also has a mad crush on the star lacrosse player, Marshall. Though only Dylan knows of it. The duo have a third member to complete a Three Musketeers, Sasha, who is of polish/ukranian descent, I think 2nd generation. But she moved a few towns over a few summers back. With Sasha, they make horrible eastern block jokes.
Well, Dylan and Brian managed to steal Brian's dad's Thunderbird and race off to find out if the rest of country is under the same attack. They end up coming across Nick, a fireman/paramedic, who has a slight case of amnesia. His father is a senator. So that's fun.
