Disappointed? Never. Seeing that I haven't stayed in touch with anyone from high school, discovering, or rather being discovered, at all is quite interesting to say the least. You remember me correctly. I was that guy. I also secretly had a crush on the football coach.

When did I realize I was gay? In high school for sure. I was in show choir for a year. When did I come to terms with it and say fuck it? Not until after my sophomore year in college. Being that I attended an extremely conservative religious school, I don't really have friends from those days either.

As for my current life, I just moved to Lexington, KY after living in Chicago for over eight years. Why? Love mainly. Plus I was sick of being poor all the time. I spent a few years trying to make it as a musician traveling the country and bringing the rock. I played in various bands and had a few brushes with success but after repeated disappointment, especially the last one in which I was almost to the point of having a "career" and realized I was working with a selfish egomaniac, I kind of bit the bullet and decided to move on. It was a hard decision and I wish I had more tolerance when it comes to living out of a suitcase and eating Pasta-Roni every night. If I did, I'd still be in a band. Music still remains a huge part of my life and I'm missing it more than I thought I would.

Another reason I moved is the need to finish school. I never did. What started out as a semester off before transferring to an art school turned into over six years of settling into my new life as me. Now I want to return to get an English degree. I hope to make it as a writer, you know, because that's so much more stable a career than musician.

So, feel free to read on. I make 90% of my posts public knowledge anyway.
