Managed one workout last week - 2.5 mile run on Wednesday. Tried for the weekend but my birthday dinner and a late night Sat made that not happen. Goal for this week: work out of ANY form on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Gotta get the rythm back...
Work has been extra busy/stressful - our last dev sprint is in process and we're figuring out what to put in the "clean-up" sprint. Sadly we have identified several mission critical items that simple weren't delivered - so it's push-back and finger pointing time. Oh, the joy. I suspect we'll have another 2 weeks of this madness and then things will calm down because we will either have slipped the launch date or settled on what's in/out and I'll start working on the next phase requirements.
I also had a birthday! To celebrate a bunch of folks came over and put on our pjs, ordered thai take-away and watched Kung-fu Panda, which totally effing ROCKED!!! Ahhhh. 'twas loverly!
Today I enjoyed the sunny day heading to Bake Sale Betty's for literally the best fried chicken sandwich on the planet. So. Friggin. Good. Sat in the 70 degree sun eating a sammich, drinking a lemon ice and enjoying the free brownie Betty gave me. NUM.
