Until recently the only Neil Gaiman I'd read was Good Omens. I was thoroughly unimpressed. It had a few good one-liners, but overall seemed only mildly clever in a derivative sort of way. As a first taste of Gaiman, it didn't leave me wanting more, though I'm willing to blame Pratchett* for that book. Nonetheless, I hadn't been motivated to seek ( Read more... )
