Updates: blood and food
- Quite enjoyed American Gods. Best Gaiman I've read (well, that's out of three, but still).
- Finally feeling over the flu the last few days. Still tired, but that may just be winter and being on vacation.
- Had a lump removed from my right forearm on Monday. It was not the predicted lipoma, but a benign nervous tumor. I have a bit of reduced sensation in the arm "downstream" of where the lump was. It's kinda cool.
- I didn't watch the procedure, but took pictures of the lump after it was external. It looked like a peeled grape, only red.
- Baked all morning. Ate bits of apple while paring and slicing them. Was reminded of Mr. Jaquel. Cut my thumb when I was being stupid and the knife slipped. (The gods will have their blood.)
- Looking forward to a variety of social gatherings over the next few days and week.
