Merry Christmas
I’m not here much during Christmas, but you probably figured that out as I’m even late with this post. Usually, I prefer to post this on the 24th, as that’s the main day of Christmas for me. This year, I did not even open DW/LJ until now - almost at 4am in the morning of the 25th.
I can tell you that Christmas Eve was nice, calm, and wonderful for me. I was a little nervous about how it would feel to celebrate my first Christmas in my new home, but I had the same mood and feelings here as I used to have in previous years. Mom is staying with me during the holidays as well, so we did all the same things we usually do - only the surroundings are different. So, in short, everything was good, normal, peaceful, and beautiful.
I hope your Christmas will be everything you hope for as well. Enjoy the holidays, take time to breathe in the mood and atmosphere of these days, and may the season be the best it can be.
