rambling
- saw Star Trek on Friday and loved it. chatted with my friend, I'll call him RJ, about it on Saturday. he picked it apart. liked it less after that. am going to see it again (was going to anyway) with a coworker and another this coming Friday. am hoping it'll help me love it again. :) will review it on my other blog after that.
- have finally finished one of the books I had started a while ago and never got around to finishing. I keep getting distracted by other shiny things. have decided to reread Angels and Demons before I go see the movie next weekend, so that is currently in progress as well.
- it's girls' weekend out this weekend with my mom and sis visiting. we're going to see Wicked on Sat. should be fun! =D

- went to a local skeptics' society's "Scientists in the Pub" lecture last night entitled "Why People Believe Weird Things". fun lecture, fun conversations. met some good people, including a couple peeps who may be heading down to D*Con (w00t for some peeps going down from my area!). I think this'll be a fun group to join. =P
