rambling update
now that I have all of the listing stuff taken care of... lmao I'm a geek, I admit it. always have. so also on my "to do" list today is the beginnings of run-through of all of the dvd/blu-ray I have. I decided it's the best way for me to actually make sure I watch them all, instead of continually skipping the ones I, well, keep skipping. so I've started with a LotR extended edition marathon. 'cause they're up first on the top shelf rofl. I've never made it all the way through one so we'll see how far I get today. I started at 7:45 am this morning and am currently at the point where Boromir makes a fool of himself just before he dies saving Merry and Pippin. so almost one movie down, two to go.
as for that damned booklist... I have to admit, several of those books are leftover from college and i've probably read them at some point but I won't remember until I sit down to read them again, at which point I'll cross them off the list again. I didn't realize there were so many until now though. it's kinda insane. this is why I've put a limit on myself now. *pats self on the back* *cheers for Aragorn kicking some ass* *laughs at Frodo falling down the hill* *snickers @ Pippin* they're pretty wicked with those rocks... /random LotR musings
we had an assessment at work this week. still going on technically, though not specifically at our branch. things went well as far as I know, but I think official report won't be in for a bit yet. time seemed to fly by while the inspectors were here though, which was kinda counterintuitive, ya know? things have been pretty busy the past couple months, and will continue to be for a while yet, but that's ok. I like it that way. keeps me from being bored.
Fellowship's over. on to Two Towers. time for laundry and thinking about lunch. later dudes and dudettes.
