Yesterday the research paper was due and I was sort of freaking out. Did anyone else feel the same way? I struggled to have a good ending to the research paper as I found myself hard to find the right and correct thing to say. After writing five pages, I froze up. I guess you could call it "writer's block", even though I am not much of a writer; but I always try my best. Hopefull Dr. Angel-Cann can see that I am trying my best and hopefully give me a descent grade! Also this week in english class we read and studied "A Doll's House" by Ibsen. We had a quiz over the first half of the play on Monday. I did really well on that quiz. Finally one quizz I passed! Lol but the short story pretty good. The first part of the story though started off really slow when it came to the conversation between Nora and Mrs. Linde. They knew each other from school way back when and it was there first time seeing each other in a long time, so I know there is some catching up to do but really? Back and forth, back and forth, saying basically the same thing over and over again. The second part and third part or scenes of the play were much better. Through drama created excitment as I read and I kind of enjoyed reading it, even though I do not like to read. I am glad Dr. Angel-Cann or the English department at Collin decided to read this story instead of a more boring story.
