Bad colds, baptism and more
I'm still recovering from last week's illness but still feeling much better. Unfortunately, it seems to be making its round through the household. Diane passed it onto me and now my son seems to be affected. The poor kid was sent home from day care today and Diane took off from work to take care of him. Since I missed two days last week, I was glad that she was able to do that.
Over the weekend, we traveled to Cincinnati to attend my nephew's baptism. Both parents looked so proud and was glad to share that day with them. It was a nice service and was amazed at the construction that was done to the church since we have been up in Akron. It has increased the space by more then 50% and looks fantastic.
This week, Diane and I are trying to catch up on chores again. We managed to get caught up on bills but figured that we will need to space out the rest of them over the week. We still haven't finished filing our taxes so that will be the next big project.
I felt bad about not giving Ron a call back after Sunday but we simply haven't had enough time. In the brief time that I spoke to him, his unemployment ran out and he was filing for another extension. I wish that there was more that I could do for him.
