Not a great day to start off my off day...
After helping Diane get the kids ready for day care, I stepped on one of their toys and bruised the bottom of my foot. On the good side, the toy remained intact but it hurts like the dickens to walk around the house today. (Note: Yes, 'dickens' was not my first adjective but keeping it kid-friendly today.) Ah well -- that's part of the adventure with kids.
Today, I'm going to help get us caught up on laundry from last week. Both kids were sick last week and Diane and I were still recovering ourselves. Since there's no rush, I'll have plenty of time to watch TV or catch up on my Netflix movies till everyone comes home.
