Aggggghhhhhhhhh.......got my first taste of spanish fucking gridlock today. Oh, what fun.....there´s so much to be said for being crushed up against a smelly spanish prick. At least i had the decency to put on some frickin´ deodorant this morning.....wish i could say the same for my wonderful bus mates. My blood pressure has been through the roof this whole freakin´ morning and i´m ready to lash out at the next motherfucker who makes a really stupid comment to me today. Got a few people in mind....and one of ´em is a silly little girl from new york. Dumbass broad....
My host mother is going in for surgery today, so things have been a bit uncomfortable around the house for the last couple of days. My god do these people get pissed over their food......crazy shit. Also got some bad news at home that we may have to put my cat to sleep soon, he´s been a bit......crazy lately. And this has me EXTREMELY upset right now.
Once again, certain people that I see at school here are really getting on my nerves. Honestly, there´s only maybe two or three people right now who aren´t just pissing the living shit out of me.
I´m ready to go home. I´ve definitely had enough of Spain. I´m just really tired of being viewed as the ¨foreigner¨here, even when I don´t open my mouth and actually dress similar to the people here. I´m pretty tolerant of other cultures, and I had hoped that maybe that would pay off for me somewhere down the line. Apparently, somewhere down the line is not ¨here in Spain¨.
Sigh........but, I have to suck it up, because I´m still here for another week and a half. It won´t be all bad, though. Going to the zoo today, the really huge aquarium tomorrow followed by salsa dancing, free Garbage show on Thursday (!) plus a trip to the fine arts museum. ¨So, suck it up, Schafe!¨, I say to myself.
