Close to the end.....
Well, kids, I´ve only got 8 days left here in España. Not really too mcuh exciting going on right now, but I am going to see a free show by GARBAGE tonight!!!! Man, it´s going to be so awesome.....
Went to two different interesting places this week. First, the zoo at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Rhinos, lions, tigers, ostriches....the works. Very small zoo, though. Detroit Zoo is so much more kickass.
But, then we went to this place called L´Oceanografic, one of the largest aquariums\aquatic zoos in Europe. Man was it ever kickass. Dolphin show, penguins, sharks.....good shit.
Unfortunately, had a bit of an incident last night. Now, I´m normally a pretty mellow cat when it comes to dealing with people´s shit......but goddamn did I ever get pissed. I won´t go into details, because it´s rather personal, but needless to say I almost erupted. I have not lost my temper with another person in a very, very long time, but I came really close to a full blown meltdown last night. I was a little drunk by the end of the night, and I took a nice long walk home by myself to cool off.
However, things got much, much better this morning. Patched things up with the guilty party, and now things are back to status quo (might actually be a little better now).
So yeah, it´s gonna be pretty quiet around here this weekend. No excursion planned (no free ones from the school, anyway) but a bunch of people are going north to Barcelona, and some are going south to Alicante. So, I guess those of us remaining behind will just have entertain ourselves.
And that´s really about all right now. 8 days.....can´t wait. Miss you all, and I´ll have lots of stories for everyone!
