new rig (for guitargeeks only lol)...
well thanks to my loving mother and a lil magic word called "credit", ive been able to get a rig...dont worry im paying her back substantially monthly from now till im 30 :P...FINALLY...its like night and day from the fiddling i was doing before...basically i got a Peavey XXX head, along with the matching 4x12 cab (i had to settle with the xxl cab till they get the xxx in, just a couple weeks away)...along with that i purchased a couple new pedals, and a pedal board for organization and power supply...plus i bought a MT-2 distortion pedal and a Noise Supressor to go along with my DS_1 distortion pedal and my Bad Horsie wah...im also gonna use my Zoom 505II for my effects, till i get a rackmount...with all this stuff out of the way, all i have left to do is get my JS-100 fixed and pop the EMG 81 and 85s into it...after that all that would be left for me to do is buy the rackmount effects processer...thats not a necessity though and infact at the moment it isnt even a really big desire (still a desire nonetheless)...this also has provided me with a mess of new sound options for our band...on top of all that good news, when we go to the rehearsal studio i can bring my head along now :D...this is a joy cause the heads they offer SUCK ASS...tube power baby...its honestly a dream come true...i remember back in the day playing on a used Fender Champ amp and a used Squier 2!!! strat...Squier 2 aint even around no more, thats more like the affinity strat now...this is a very good moment in my life, i just hope it continues to build...
