My days of being a Dari language student have come to an end. "It is still hell."

This is something my son's 5 yr old friend said today.  I just had to smile and reply, "Yes.  Yes, it is hell."  One of his parents is German, the other American.  This child has grown up hearing and speaking both languages.  When he visits us he has a tendency to mix German & English together in his sentences.
