Whoo, sleepy…
I’m at work right now, trying to waste time before heading back for lots of homework. T_T
Vicki referred Linda and me to a temporary position at Nation’s, so we got hired around Labor Day weekend. Spent around 12 hours a day analyzing data for a lawsuit, and got free lunch (ooo chicken salad…) and dinner. The work’s tedious, but the pay’s pretty good. $12/hr and overtime for 12 hours on Labor Day. Made a crapload of money. Sadly (?) today’s the last day, so no more free pie… D:
My financial situation is kinda serious. I’ve decided that I need to find a job asap in order to afford next semester. I applied for the Biology Scholars Program and figured that I’d join the archery club next year, since archery equipment is somewhat costly. I’m going to focus on gaining my residency this year, and keeping a high gpa (which will be really hard…).
For the past few days, I’ve been trying to get a work-study lab job. So far, every job I’ve applied for has said that the position was already filled. If it was already filled, why don’t you remove the ad you placed? Grr… at least I’ve finished writing my resume and cover letter. Took me a while to figure out what to write for the Nation’s job (it’s kinda… stupid), but with help from Vicki it sounds DAMN good now. :D
Classes are… busy. Math is kinda killer, and the only reason I’m surviving physics and chemistry is because somehow I remember some of whatever I learned in ap. NST 10 is sorta pointless, but I suppose I’ll need it as a grade-booster later.
I don’t think anything else that’s happened has been anything remarkable, so I guess I could try to read my physics book?
