Vision すごい!

Things are going pretty well nowadays. My clothes are finally unpacked, I’ve cleared out the kitchen, and the old desk and chair have been sold. Still waiting for the TV stand, which I think is arriving sometime next week… the 20th, maybe? It used to be the 29th.

I randomly made a jello dessert for Linda’s friends who finished their exams today. Vision, Zarchi, Helen, Jay, Dave, and Ken appeared around 1 am (they just finished watching a movie in Emeryville) for a smash fest and some racing. One of the controllers is whack and will probably need replacing, since it always shifts to the right for some reason. Anyway, it was a fun event, and it was pretty interesting to see Vision and Zarchi try to cut the jello dish. We ended up just spooning it onto plates to consume (since, as Linda said, it’s all the same in your stomach anyway).

On a more amusing note, another friend of Linda’s named Don called and said that he was homeless for tonight, thus he’s now staying at our place. He just took his Jap 100 exam, and had some pretty funny stories to share. I got to see some of my senseis dancing and singing karaoke, which was highly entertaining. Hopefully I can continue Japanese over the summer. Meeting a senpai is actually kind of inspiring.

He’s the first person to try out our futon, and I think he’s pretty comfy on it… at least he looks like he’s comfortable. It could just be that he’s really tired. I’m going to feel bad for him in the morning when we leave for Emeryville. Sleep is so nice…
