Events
So over the weekend Sharon and I ripped apart the girl’s room. There had been the most atrocious paneling over the walls, so it was time for that to go. As usual it was a spackling nightmare. Also I swapped out a light switch and all the outlets for the three-pronged type.
I cleaned up the garage a bit and managed to gather a bunch of stuff together to donate to Good Will.
Started taking a shining to Geocaching. For those not in the know, you basically download a bunch of waypoints to your GPS from a website and go look for them. Usually they are small boxes with prizes and logbooks and such. Yesterday I looked for two caches but could not find them.
Saw two movies recently that I have not seen before.
“I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry” Not a bad flick. I am REALLY not an Adam Sandler fan. In fact I just plain dislike him. But never the less I laughed pretty hard at this movie.
“Munich” WOW this was a powerful movie about Israeli assassins. I was completely taken in for the almost three hours it took for the movie to finish.

Tinkering
Started playing around with a loop antenna tuned to the navy transmitter in Cutler, Maine. I‘m gearing up to get an apparatus together to monitor solar flares again. Below is a picture of my preliminary setup.

Health
Been walking a bit and eating terribly.
Dream
Every once in a while I will have a dream that I am back in high school again. It is never a different venue or anything like that. It is always started with me walking through the front doors of my high school and realizing that I have absolutely no idea where I am supposed to be. I always have the thought that I need to finish out the year or I will never graduate, and I never have a class schedule and am clueless as to what class I need to be in. There is a bit of a sinking feeling and I am often entertaining the thought of just leaving.
The dream never lasts very long and I usually wake up before I make a final decision as to what I will do.
Weather
It’s FINALLY starting to get nice out. I was even able to sleep with the windows open. Last night a storm blew through and the winds were particularly high. This morning I literally had to search and reassemble all of my trashcans. Temp is in the mid 50’s.
Mindless Banter
Yup that is right, I saw the Weiner mobile over the weekend. It was parked in the parking lot of the local grocery store. The two times I was in the parking lot that day I never seen anyone manning the giant hotdog. There were table laying next to it on the ground not setup and people standing around it taking picture but I never saw an actual Weiner guy manning the behemoth sausage.
I had my singing voice all geared up and ready to sing the Weiner song for a free hotdog, but alas my song would have feel on deaf ears. Ahh well at least I got to see it.
Daily Good News
Its starting to warm up a bit. The oppressive cloak of winter will soon be retired.
Opinion
I am SO sick to death of snot nosed teenagers making my coffee. I am absolutely convinced that if you are under the age of 25, you simply cannot make a decent cup of coffee to save your life.
