Heh, looks like we, as fans, dodged some bullets with some of these castings. Tom Cruise instead of RDJ as Iron Man? John Krasinski instead of Chris Evans as Captain America? Josh Hartnett instead of Tom Hiddleston as Loki?

The mind reels.

Ya know, I do really like the Thor movie that came out a few weeks ago. It seems that quite a few of us do as well, since it is close to grossing $200 Million in North American ticket sales alone.

But then, I just remembered . . . this wasn't the first time Marvel's Norse God of Thunder was portrayed in a live action vehicle.
