Monday May 8
I like school but I did not want to go today. I wanted to play with Onii-chan some more. But in the summer I will get to play with him some more and Papa too!
3 more months.
Yoona-chan made me better. She played with me right up until we had to do table work. Aragaki-sensei asked us to write about our week and draw a picture. I told her about Jessi-chan and Onii-chan visiting and how they caught into a fight and I cheered Onii-chan up with Nana. Then I drew a picture of me giving Nana to Onii-chan. He was smiling and Jessi-chan was sad.
Hiro-kun said I draw really well. Yoona-chan said it looked just like them. I thought I had a fever again because my I felt really hot. When I handed in my work I asked sensei to check my temperature. She said I was okay.
When I went back to the table to draw some more I saw Kazuya-kun working on his work still. He was erasing a lot. He did not know how to spell baseball.
So I told him.
He was not happy that I told him, but said thank you.
I asked him what he did during the week. He said his Papa is teaching him how to play baseball. He played catch with his brothers and ate yummy food with his whole family. He was smiling the entire time. When I told him I never played baseball before he threw his eraser at me. He said I was boring and that I should play with more boys.
He was very mean. But that is Kazuya-kun.
Hiro-kun said I was not boring. Then he taught me about baseball. It sounded fun and hard. I always trip when I run, so I would be falling a lot if I played. I tried to tell Kazuya-kun about how fun it sounded but he ignored me. He wanted to play with the puzzles when he was done. I asked if I could help but he said Yuya-kun was going to help him when he was done.
Yoona-chan then asked me to play with her, Takahisa-kun and Aya-chan. Aya-chan is really quiet and always wears a special hat, she said it keeps her head warm because she’s sick.
Yoona-chan wanted to play house. She was the Mama, Takahisa-kun was the brother, Aya-chan was the sister and I was the Papa. I told them I did not know how to be a Papa.
I heard Kazuya-kun laugh at me from beside the house and said that Papas are like Mamas except more fun and always working.
He looked sad when he said it.
He looked lonely playing by himself too (Yuya-kun wanted to play dolls with the girls).
Instead of playing with Yoona-chan and the others I sat down and put a puzzle together with Kazuya-kun. Kazuya-kun tried to do it himself but he got stuck because the pieces did not fit. I think he stated to cry a bit. I found the piece that did fit, but his eyes still looked shiny.
“I miss Tou-chan.” He said. He said his Papa only plays with him on Sundays and that his friends do not play with him much. They say he’s boring because he only wants to play baseball. I think he’s boring because he only wants to play baseball. I did not say that to him though. I said I missed my Papa too and that I will not see him until summer.
He did not look as sad anymore.
I asked him if he watches the Eito Rangers. He looked very happy and nodded his head. As we cleaned up for lunch Kazuya-kun kept talking to me about the Eito Rangers. His favourite is Red because he is the leader.
While we were eating he told me he wants to be a really good pitcher some day and get to play in Koushien.

When it was time to go home Kazuya-kun waved goodbye and thanked me for playing with him today. His mama looked happy too and smiled at me.
I waited outside of Erika-chan’s classroom since we walk home together now and saw Ryo-chan waiting too. I smiled.
He asked if I could give him back the charm because he wanted to give it to her himself. I forgot to bring it to school today. He stares at me then smacks my head hard and puts the gum he was chewing in my hair.
When Erika-chan came out of the classroom she sticks her tongue out at Ryo-chan. Then noticing the gum in my hair she kicks him too. I laughed a little.
After I got home and took the scissors away from me saying that she will take it out and to never try and do it myself; I made sure to put the charm in my bag for tomorrow so this did not happen again.
