✿ Watched the 2015 remake of Poltergeist with the horror movie gang Friday evening. Verdict: It's not the worst remake out there, but it's nothing special, either. There were some nice extra touches in the form of callbacks to the original movie, and one of the kids got their own character arc in a way that was pretty well-done. Nearly finished reading Scott Lynch's Red Seas Under Red Skies. I've found it very satisfying, but I have no idea how it's going to get wrapped up with the amount that I still have left to read... I hope that won't be left to the next book. That'd be really disappointing ( Read more... )

I received Sabaton's Attero Dominatus for Christmas. So, now my collection of Sabaton studio albums is almost complete; just missing Metalizer now. And the live albums of course.

So, Sabaton's new album arrived in the mail today. :D I've been waiting to listen to Heroes for a while and I'm so glad that I have it now. The anticipation is totally worth it.

It's not my favourite; Carolus Rex was better. Heroes has a couple of songs that just don't work for me; I'm thinking mainly of "The Ballad of Bull" and "Inmate 4859". ( Read more... )
