This is ridiculous. I am ridiculous. [YOI crackpair stuff]

Apparently, I'll ship literally anything.

I was scrolling, as you do. And I came across someone saying that one of Seung Gil's problems is, of course, expression. Not just that, but also - "too much math not enough EMOTION"

And that sent me into a curveball of what if.

Because (work with me, here) if we took Seung Gil's mathematical tendencies, and channelled them into using mathematics as a vehicle for passion and expression, then we could go somewhere with that. Mathematics, once you press beyond simple calculations, is pretty mind-blowing, and requires a certain kind of creativity and expression.

So, clearly, Seung Gil needs to take math and work with it, beyond point calculations.

If we run with that - developing an idea that Seung Gil enjoys maths, but has not figured out a way to apply it in a productive, passionate way to skating - then that takes us in another direction. Because mathematics is - it's endless, it's infinite, it's divine. It's the handwriting of god. (To quote an entirely different canon, ahem.)

And who takes their inspiration from the divine?

Leo. His entire skate is centred around both music and god.

(And what is music if not another kind of mathematics? And what is mathematics, but god?)

This is just a convoluted way of me saying "CLEARLY this tiny detail links them together. And that means these two need to kiss. And also I like the idea that Seung Gil likes math."

I feel like I'm trying to do a proof for the Illuminati. Well, why not. So heyyy, I guess I'll roll with it.

YOU KNOW, I actually saw a fanart of this pairing once, somewhere. I can't remember where. But it was cute! Oh, wait, I just found it, look look look! * * * Cute~

Fuck it, now I actually want this. WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN. Then again, I've been trying to think of more Leo pairs that I'd enjoy, because why not, so... yes.

If I ever write this pairing, it'll have to have copious amounts of math and music metaphors. Hot diggety.

I'm going to backdate the hell out of this entry, because it's SILLY.
