2015 Fic Year In Review
I posted 48 individual works during 2015, which is more than I've written in quite a long time. This is partly due to having new fandoms, I think. ;) Though I've been posting to Ao3 more, there is still a ton of stuff that was never really posted outside of my writing journal (
roesslyng), so if you follow my stuff, it might be worthwhile to poke around there.

Stand Still Stay Silent
01. Routines | Ao3 Link | Emil & Lalli, 0+, 1.2k. They have their routines. They've become set in them. Sometimes, they make new ones.
02. Clumsy | Tumblr Link | Lalli/Emil, 0+, 700. As Lalli gets ready to go, Emil tries, unsuccessfully, to change his mind.
03. Break Down, Build Up | Ao3 Link | Prologue characters, 0+, 500. The world's gone, but as time turns, they hang on.
04. Four Loves | Ao3 Link | Árni/OCs, 10+, 2.2k. Loves come and go. Some memories of love are held closer to the heart than others.
05. Still. Silent. | Tumblr Link | Lalli & Emil, 0+, 150. The monster comes. They wait.
06. Relief | Ao3 Link | Lalli/Emil, 0+, 500. Emil's first instinct upon realizing they are both safe is to neaten Lalli's hair. Lalli thinks this is the least of his problems.
07. Until We Meet Again | Ao3 Link | Lalli/Emil, 10+, 600. Reincarnation AU. They didn't get a chance the first time around. But maybe here, maybe now, they can try again together.
08. Citadel Sigrun/Tuuri, 0+, 33 lines poetry. The door to Sigrun's heart is closed, but not locked.
09. Heart and Hands SSSS OCs, 0+, 34 lines poetry. In memory of Rasmus, written on the evening prior to departing to join the expedition to the silent world. SSSSona backstory.
10. Water and Eternity | Ao3 Link | Lalli/Emil, 13+, 3k. Näkki-Lalli AU. Lalli is becoming something, transforming, changing. He knows this. He also knows that there is someone he must save, someone he must protect, even if doing so means hiding himself away.
11. Acceptance | Ao3 Link | Emil -> Sigrun, 0+, 990. The door is closed, but he takes it well. Rejection isn't so bad, after all.
12. Wayfarer (Prose) | Ao3 Link | Lalli & Reynir, 0+, 1.7k. Reynir visits Lalli in the dreamworld again. This time, he has a suggestion. Lalli has mixed feelings about it.
13. Wayfarer (Poem) Lalli & Reynir, 0+, 60 lines poetry. Poem version of the story in prose Wayfarer.
14. Don't Fall Behind | Ao3 Link | Emil/Lalli, 13+, 4.6k. While on a book-hunting mission in an old library, Emil loses track of Lalli. Again. Finding him again isn't as easy a task as he would like it to be.
15. I will love you quietly | Ao3 Link | Emil & Lalli, ambiguous relationship; 0+, 1.3k. When Lalli wakes, he finds that someone has been keeping watch over him. He isn't surprised in the least.
16. Crossed Wires Emil/Lalli, 13+, 1k (my portion 500). Four times they tried to take things to another level, and one time they did. Collaborative project with Solo.
17. Flint to Spark Emil -> Sigrun, 0+, 11 lines poetry. Words don't impress her. But something else might.
A Redtail's Dream
01. Walk With Me In The Dark | Ao3 Link| Hannu & Ville, 0+, 2.4k. It happened months ago, but Hannu hasn't quite shaken off the memory of the dream. Luckily, he has Ville with him.
02. Keeping Secrets | Ao3 Link | Jonna/Riikka, 0+, 1.6k. Some secrets are meant to be kept. Other secrets... aren't.
03. Reunion | Ao3 Link | Kielo & Swan, 0+, 1.5k. After many years, Kielo meets the Swan again.
04. The Swan's Mage | Ao3 Link | aRTD+SSSS crossover; Hannu & Ville & Onni, 0+, 500. Onni thought the shadows that slipped through his dreams belonged to hostile spirits. He was wrong.
05. Where you belong Hannu & Ville, 0+, 32 lines. Getting to sleep in the summer heat is impossible.
06. Knotwork | Ao3 Link (*Ao3 ver is 13+) | Hannu, Joona, & Jonna (-> Joona/Hannu/Jonna, ish), 18+, 3.1k Joona and Jonna decide that tying Hannu up and locking him away for a while would be a great way to make him cool down when he's being a jerk. Though Hannu keeps quiet about it, this affects him more than they expected.
07. Nitpicks and Particulars Hannu/Paju, 0+, 150. Little things that Hannu does always drive Paju crazy.
08. Snowfall | Ao3 Link | Hannu & Ville, 0+, 1k. It snowed overnight. Ville wants to play in it, but Hannu needs a bit of coaxing.
09. Free Fall Joona/Hannu, 18+, 600. It's useless to object. They both know the truth, anyway.
Hetalia
01. Good Ideas Norway/Denmark, 18+, 274. Sometimes, Denmark has good ideas.
02. Cake Belarus & Norway, 0+, 100. Norway gave her a cake recipe, and Belarus is still surprised by it.
03. Best-Laid Plans Canada/Iceland, 0+, 400. They're going to have a great weekend together, but they'll have to dig themselves out of the house first.
04. Diplomacy Denmark & Germany, 10+, 230. Denmark receives an apologetic letter, and though he'd like to reject it, it's a start.
05. Never Assume Czech/Norway, 10+, 450. Norway thinks she's hinting at something, but he doesn't know how wrong he is.
06. In The Dark Estonia & Norway, 0+, 360. Norway helps Estonia with a paranormal investigation.
07. Straight Ice Norway/Netherlands, 0+, 260. Norway takes Netherlands skating, and Netherlands thinks about the differences in their landscapes.
08. When the Boats Come In | Tumblr Link | Russia/Norway, 0+, 300. Norway can't always make it up north when the Pomors come trading, but sometimes he can, and that's when they meet.
09. Salmon Rolls Denmark & Sweden, 0+, 950. Denmark gives Sweden some badly-needed relationship advice.
10. Firm Form, Soft Touch. Norway/Denmark, 18+, 5.6k. They've been close for a long time, but that doesn't mean that there isn't anything new left to learn about each other.
11. Two Under One Sky | Ao3 Link | Australia & Max Rockatansky. 10+. 2.7k. Hetalia + Mad Max Fury Road crossover. Australia meets someone while travelling down the roads in what's left of his land. He can't put his finger on it, but there's something about this Max guy that makes him feel that he can trust him.
12. Your Rocky Spine | Tumblr Link | Netherlands/Norway, 13+, 700. And the mountains said I will find you here; they whispered the snow and the leaves in my ear.
13. Rota Fortunae FemSweden/Norway, 10+, 750. As Norway falls, Denmark reaches his height, and Sweden rises. The wheel turns.
14. Hyggelig | Tumblr Link | Denmark/Norway/Netherlands, 0+, 500. On a night like this, with the three of them together, Denmark is grateful for what he has.
15. Sweet Cola Iceland -> America, 0+, 42 lines poetry. He came in like a breeze. It knocked him down.

04. Mary in the Black and White Room Ava, 0+, 16 lines. She was born there, and raised there, and she can only observe the outside world on a black and white monitor. And then one day, someone opens the door...

01. Molly Scratch and the City of Iron | Ao3 Link | Various characters, 0+, 4.4k. The Griffins told her of Animals across the sea. Animals who could trade for a metal that she would never find if she stayed on dry land. But Griffins always lie. Don't they?

01. Tell Me Everything | Ao3 Link | Link & Ravio, 0+, 5.3k. A hero's job is pretty tough. But sometimes, all it takes to get on your feet again is a good rest and a talk with a friend.
