(no subject)
Weekend's finally here, and I badly need to decompress. Tonight sounds like: A movie, a run, and maybe a nice hot bath.
Started reading Stephen King's The Stand. Really enjoying it so far. This kind of scenario hits my nightmare buttons, so I fully expect that at some point I'm going to need to do some comfort reading as a palate cleanser... fortunately, I have some unread volumes of Black Jack on hand, so that'll probably do well enough.
Stephen King might not be my favourite author, but I must admit, I have a lot of admiration for the guy. So damn prolific, and so successful, wow. And he tells some pretty good stories (well, usually - there've been a couple that I didn't like, but still).
Anyhow. Thinking about poking around the CD place tomorrow for Fall Out Boy's newest album, American Beauty/American Psycho. I only realized just recently that they released a new one; been kind of out of the loop. But I've been listening to the songs from it now, and I've liked everything that I've heard so far. Probably Centuries is the favourite so far, though.
