Insensitive

December 17th 2013: tragic news....tragic, just for me... but still quite tragic. Steve, my landlord/room mate/supposed friend and his handyman raked over and destroyed all of the seedlings I had planted in the garden. He had originally asked me to work permaculture magic into the garden and plant some seeds. So I put a lot of work into it and planted many winter crop seedlings such a cauliflower, broccoli, kale, spinach, lettuce, turnips, carrots, radishes, and then many other seeds I had gotten during the class at Debbies. All of those seeds had popped up and were slowly growing, but not fast enough for Steve apparently, even though I explained and showed them to him. Without regard to ask me or let me know, he destroyed everything that was growing. I am utterly heartbroken and I feel like I'm just gonna forget the ideas for the garden here and help out with other projects that people are doing around Jax. Sorry, I just needed to get that out.

Update: I am still very upset by what Steve had done to the garden. I haven't been out there ever since, and I just took a walk around and examined everything. He threw hay on top of the torn up soil and seedlings, and it appears he threw some kale seeds and winter peas haphazardly all over the place. I stomped on a few of them because I am terribly pissed that he destroyed my garden. The romanesca broccoli is the only surviving seedling and has become over a foot high and should soon begin producing the flowerettes. Everything else would be around the same growth if he hadn't ruined everything. I will most likely never get over that he did this. It has forever changed my perspective of him.
