I will be making a post later tonight with the first of 1,001 pieces of flash fiction. I'm going to do my best to keep them separate posts. That way, it's easier on everyone: you can ignore it if you hate my writing, or you can focus on just it if you hate my RL posts.
Well, Happy 2010 f-list! I've read so many of your New Year's Eve posts, and I'm so glad you guys had a wonderful night! I myself had a great time as I got together with my old best friend from elementary school (we haven't really seen each other for more than ten years before now) and we had a move marathon night. We went out and rented five different movies, watched them all until 3 this morning, had some crappy cheap pizza and some Mike's Hard Lemonade to wash it down.
The movies we bought were: Land of the Lost, Madea Goes to Jail, Dragonball: Evolution, Paranormal Activity, and Kaiden (the Japanese version).
There's not much I can say about the movies without spoiling them. More so since we spent the entire time either mocking, laughing at, drinking to, or some combination of the above to every movie. Save for Paranormal Activity, that movie was too terrifying and real to do anything but whimper in fright at. Though I will say the alternate ending to that movie is not worth watching, it's crap and ruins the enjoyment of the movie. And with Dragonball, well, we had a lot of fun mocking that movie. And there are really no words I can use to properly describe the ways in which that movie destroys the original anime. The thing that threw the both of us off, and had us muting to provide our own dialogue for, was that Goku came off as too...smart. lol!
We also made plans for sometime in the future to have a Tyler Perry movie marathon. His movies are just too damn good.
The rest of the evening/morning was rather boring, until the Rose Bowl came on. What's the difference between the Oregon Ducks and sucking? One extra letter! Muahahaha, I hope no one was stupid enough to place bets on Oregon winning! People who thought Oregon was going to win, and the ones who spent around two-thousand bucks to fly down there, are clearly forgetting what kind of team they're cheering for.
Moving on, it's rather obvious I didn't manage to finish writing and posting the chapters for Of Retribution and Passion and Darkening Haze. But that's alright. I'm still working on them, and will only move on to finishing writing some of my other yet-to-be-posted fanfiction, like Beyond the Dream, and the editing for Oscillating Intention. I should have it all done within a week, but there's no promises on that. I also have two other stories for a certain contest nearly done, but also no promises on them being done in time for the closing date. I'll still post them afterward whether or not they were done in time.
As for the DH/IY crossovers.. I've had a few readers and reviewers tell me they're getting upset with me for teasing them with short stories and one-shots for this crossover, and one even planted the idea in my head for a pairing. The bunnies have snatched it and run off through the fields with it. So there will be another DH/IY fic from me that will be a "full-length" one. But not for another week or two.
So instead, here's my list for
101 in 1001. I'm starting a few of them tomorrow, in order to do the 30 day ones more easily.
