Title: Sleeping Patey Chapter 7

Summary: The kingdom of Lacroix finally had their princess but a misunderstanding almost cost the princess her life. In the middle of a fairy war, can the prince get the chance to wake her princess?
Its a battle of good versus evil... will the fairies stop the evil creature who threatens to take their lives?
As they fight to protect the human and fairy kingdoms, will the fairies be also able to find their true love?
Chapter 7: THEY'RE HERE
Patey ran out and was able to catch her mischievous cat but in the process, she dropped the basket with the berries she picked earlier. She glared at Shie who purred innocently at her master.
“Hi…”
Patey gulped, she had forgotten about the handsome guy with an amazing voice. She hugged Shie closer and slowly lifted her head up, “H-h-hello…”
The man placed his sword back on the sheath and he smiled, “I’m sorry for drawing my sword on you. “
Patey nodded mutely, feeling that her ability to think clearly had fallen on the ground with the berries. The man looked at Patey with furrowed brows, “Are you all right?”
The man walked closer and Patey can now see that the man had really long lashes and he had pink lips. She unconsciously blushed and looked down, scooting away a little, wary of the increased speed of her heart.
The man chuckled and stopped moving closer… “I’m not going to hurt you…”
“My…my guardians said I should not speak with strangers…”
“I see…ah, I apologize for being rude. I haven’t introduced myself properly yet.” The man bowed politely and smiled, “I’m Kyu… it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Patey relaxed a little and smiled shyly back… “I’m Patey and he is Shie...”
“Um, do you live around here? I’ve always been staying in the woods but this is the first time I’ve seen you.”
“I..um… y-yes…”
Kyu grinned at the still nervous girl, “Do I look that scary?”
“No! I mean you don’t… you ‘re beautiful actually and you sing really good and…”
Patey clamped a hand on her mouth to stop herself from rambling, face turning pink when she later realized the words that she just said.
“Thank you Patey… I’ve never been called beautiful before.”
“Um… I-I better go… my guardians would be coming back soon.”
Kyu was unable to hide his disappointment when the girl he just met bade goodbye…his heart was nagging at him to ask her to stay and yet he knows he can’t just ask that out of the blue. So despite the slight hurt in his chest he managed to smile, “Can I see you again?”
“Pateeeey! Where are you?!”
Patey looked at Kyu and then at the direction of the voice source, “That’s Yui… I really need to go. I’ll be here again tomorrow. See you, bye!”
“Pateeeey!”
Patey clutched Shie on one arm and grabbed the basket containing some of the berries she gathered earlier. She ran to the middle of the woods where Irish (Ivy) and Yui (Yuki) were waiting.
“I’m here! Irish! Yui!!”
“Aish finally! Hurry, get inside the house now! Irish, I’ll get Patey in.”
“What?! Why?”
“Not now Patey, we’ll explain later. Get inside your room and don’t get out until we tell you to okay? Bring Shie with you.”
Patey nodded and Yui pushed her lightly to the direction of the house while Irish stood protectively as if waiting for something. As soon as Patey went inside the
house, Yui took out her wand and chanted a spell which made a thin white veil of light cover the house.
Irish felt the surge of power coming from Yui and she faced the pixie beside her,
“Gyuri…”
The pixie curtsied, “give your command and I shall follow Mistress Ivy.”
Ivy smiled for a bit then her face became serious again as she gave her order, “find your mistress Dify and Suzy. Tell them we have been found. Ask them to come as soon as possible.”
The beautiful pixie bowed again and flew. The wings on both Ivy and Yuki’s back are now visible and their clothes had changed from ordinary human clothes to their fairy attire. Ivy wore a tube type blue dress with matching boots while Yuki was wearing a black one shouldered dress with gold and silver trimmings and black boots. The West fairy’s hair was tied in a bun with bangs hiding one of her eyes while the Fairy princess hair was now curled at the end tied messily with a crown clip.
Yuki walked closer to Ivy and patted her shoulder, “I created a barrier so that nothing evil can come in and I made sure that Patey would not be able to see or hear anything outside.”
“Good… Yuki, do you think we need to call back up?”
Yuki smirked and stretched, “nah… we won’t even break a sweat… “
Ivy saw the smirk on her friend’s face and she sighed, “Yuki… I know that you’re Equion’s princess and stuff but…”
“This has nothing to do with my parentage, Ivy. The three of you are strong fairies…its just that you always had this notion that Heechul is stronger. “
“You can say that cause you are already powerful even without exerting extra efforts unlike us…”
Yuki shook her head and smiled, “No. I’m saying this cause I know it’s the truth. One day, you will know what I…”
Fairy Yuki stopped and the smirk was back on her face… “Enough explaining… they’re here.”
