One week and two days later....
The YunJae rumors were still alive.
Jaejoong banged his head on his locker and let out an irritated squeal. A week ago, when Yunho found him in the rooftop and lent him his jacket, everyone automatically assumed that they were together. It wasn't like he minded-
Oh you did not just think that Kim Jaejoong.
He scolded himself and banged his head on the locker again. He had been denying the rumors since the beginning but Yunho had done nothing to stop them. The guy only smirked whenever he was asked about it and shook his head when Jaejoong asked him to put a stop to it. Jaejoong really wanted to strangle the man; it was like the rumors were rubbing it in his face that Yunho and he were just that- a rumor that will never come true. Speaking of which....
"Hey Jae," Yunho walked alongside of him, both heading to the cafeteria.
"Hey," he answered nonchalantly, pretending not to notice the flashes of the cameras and the excited yelps coming from their fans. Today was probably going to be worse than the other days. For some reason, the events organizer committee decided to unleash a completely sudden and random event called "Couple's Day." The school was littered with couples holding hands, kissing, sighing and throwing cheese at each other. By cheese he meant overly sweet words and gestures, not actual cheese... though that would've been entertaining to watch.
So back to the point, it was "Couple's Day" and everyone expected them to act all lovey-dovey and couple-y like. However, there was just one teeny, little problem.
THEY WERE NOT TOGETHER. NOT.
They both entered the surprisingly deserted cafeteria and headed to where they spotted Jonghyun and Minho sitting.
"No Minho! We don't play tic tac toe with tic tacs damn it!" Jaejoong could hear Jonghyun yelling while waving a small container of tic tacs in the air.
"They why are they called tic tacs?! Why would they even add 'toe' in it? What an unflattering name." Minho scoffed, easily grabbing the container of mint candy from the shorter male's hand.
"Game names don't have to be flattering and I dunno, maybe whoever named it was eating tic tacs and staring at their toes at the time. Now gimmie back my candy!" Arms flailed as the two fought over the last pieces of tic tac, the paper in front of them completely forgotten.
Jaejoong looked over and saw that the paper had x's and o's scribbled all over it. He cleared his throat and sat down in front of the two, effectively stopping their actions. Minho popped the last of the candy in his mouth and chewed on them loudly.
"Where are the others?" Yunho asked, looking around the cafeteria.
Jonghyun shrugged and shoved at Minho. "Siwon and Heechul disappeared off the face of the earth, YooSu are somewhere in the school but can't be found, Kyuhyun, Sungmin, Yesung and Ryeo decided to ditch school together, Eunhyuk and Donghae are in the gym, dancing," he paused, taking a deep breath. "Eeteuk and Kangin are outside, Dara has an appointment, Rain is checking out the place where the dance competition is being held, and I swear I saw Key and Onew walking around school aimlessly... and uh... well, I can't remember where the others are- did I miss anyone?"
Jaejoong nodded, "Yes, you missed a bunch of people but I'm gonna text them and ask myself so no need to wrack your brain."
"I'm gonna go look for Key and Onew, be right back." Minho stood up and exited the cafeteria.
Jaejoong glanced at Yunho, the other guy was oddly quiet, it was weird.
"Are you guys a couple?" Jonghyun piped in, tilting his head sideways.
"What?! No, why would you think that?" Jaejoong rebutted.
"That's weird, he's got his arm around you," Jonghyun snickered. Jaejoong turned slightly and noticed that Yunho's arm was indeed around his back, not touching him but it was still around him. Yunho quickly took back his arm and looked up at the ceiling innocently. Jaejoong rolled his eyes and continued texting. A shadow loomed over their table and they all looked up at the newcomer.
Lee Joon, the basketball team captain.
"Joon!" Jonghyun got up and hi-fived the other, they were quite close. Joon just smiled and pulled at the other's hand.
"Can we go outside? I have something to say," he quickly explained and continued dragging Jonghyun out.
"Alright, alright- I'll leave you two lovebirds then! You better be a couple when I come back!" He laughed obnoxiously at Jaejoong's baffled expression and Yunho's wide grin.
Ah... all alone. Yunho stretched widely. "Jae, are you dating anyone right now?" He asked, trying to sound normal. Jaejoong found it weird, they didn't usually talk about these kinds of things.
"Do I look like I'm dating?" Jaejoong gestured to himself and to the space around him. "If I was, I'd be out with them and not in this school right now," he murmured.
"Right, well you see, I was thinking- "
"Hey guys!" Yunho was interrupted by the appearance of Key, Onew and Minho.
"Hey Key," he gritted out, sending Key a look. The other man ignored him and walked closer, Jaejoong noticed that Key and Onew were... holding hands?
No. Way.
"Key. Spill."
"Later, Jaejae, it's a long story. Now where's Jjong?" They all sat down in front of Yunho and Jaejoong.
"Outside with Joon." Yunho responded.
Minho's ass didn't even hit the chair yet when he abruptly stood up and headed outside, grumbling something inaudible. Key rolled his eyes and decided to follow, dragging Onew along.
"Really. Those kids." He mumbled in a mother-like tone.
Yunho and Jaejoong stared on, completely confused. What was happening to their friends? This stupid couple's day was definitely a bad idea. It was bringing the weird out of all of them!
Seriously. Why- oh....oh! NO FREAKING WAY. Jaejoong's eyes were wide as he pounded on his cell with a pout. "There's gonna be lots of spillage happening later." He mumbled.
Yunho cleared his throat and tried again. "As I was saying, you know the- "
"Yunho!"
"AHHH!" Yunho screamed in frustation.
Yep. Jaejoong decided as he looked over at the other. It was bringing the weird alright.
Key skipped over to them and sat down.
"Why did you come back?!" Yunho grabbed his perfectly styled hair and sent a crazed look at Key.
"Geez Yun, I'm totally feeling the love," Key stated sarcastically. "I gotta talk to you about the competition."
"Kay you guys talk, I'll head out for now see ya!" Jaejoong got up and left, leaving Yunho to stare at his back.
"Key, this better be a life and death situation or I swear I'll put YOU in a life and death situation." Yunho threatened the other darkly. Key just rolled his eyes and placed his chin on an upturned hand.
"Alright drama queen, I'll make this quick," he answered, completely unaffected by Yunho's words.

Jaejoong opened the door and felt cold air hit his face; it was quite refreshing. He glanced around the area and saw more couples cuddling next to each other, content with just whispering and being together. He shook his head and kept walking. He turned a corner and smiled as he saw a Yoochun and Junsu sitting under a tree, holding each others hands and laughing. They looked really cute and happy together when they weren't fighting. Jaejoong laughed softly to himself and headed to the park nearby.
He sat on a swing and pushed himself up, getting higher and higher. He felt someone give him a hard push before he heard the crinkling of the chains on the swing beside his. The beautiful male smiled as he saw Yunho sit on it.
"Hey there stalker," he laughed, still swinging back and forth.
"Hello to you too stalkee," Yunho smiled. Jaejoong stuck his foot out to slow his swinging.
"Why are you so quiet today?" Jaejoong asked curiously.
"Nothing, just thinking," Yunho stared up at the sky. The other man glanced at him but didn't say anything. They settled in a comfortable silence before Jaejoong spoke, breaking the atmosphere.
"Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have an actual relationship?" He asked, writing his name on the sand with his feet.
Yunho raised an eyebrow at him.
"Like... to have someone actually be with you because they like you and not your reputation..." he added softly. "Someone to treat you genuinely and not just so that they could show you off to their friends, someone to be with for a long time, someone who wants you because they love you, someone who sees you as the real deal, who overlooks your title, who sees only you..." he trailed of, sighing.
Yunho stared at Jaejoong wordlessly, he never expected the other to have these kinds of thoughts.
"I'm tired of my lifestyle, I wanna be one of them." The smaller man gestured to a couple walking slowly, hand in hand. "Have you ever thought of stopping Yunho? Being a player I mean." Jaejoong looked up at him, long lashes fluttering as he blinked.
"I... don't... know," it never actually occurred to him how it would feel like to have a real relationship. He was so used to having multiple dates and the feeling of being in control that he never tried to settle down with just one person.
"Of course," Jaejoong chuckled humorlessly. He got off the swing and started walking back. "You're the big, bad Jung Yunho after all."
Yunho stood and jogged up to Jaejoong. He may never have tried before, but he was willing to try now.
"Jae," he grabbed the other by the arms to stop him from walking.
"We have to go Yunho, break time's almost over." Jaejoong tried to pull away but Yunho's grip only tightened.
"Jae... I- I really like you."
"Yunho, I told you I don't wanna be one of your toys, we're better off being just frie- "
"Jae! I like you! Like you like... I'm not myself whenever you're near. You make me stutter, you make my heart stop, you make me worry at every single little thing that you get yourself into. I hate it when I see you talk to your admirers and you make me nervous even though I don't show it cause I'm supposed to be cool! See that, cool, you make me lose my cool! Like right now, I'm not even making sense anymore! Damn, you make me babble and stumble over my words. You make me want to always be around you to show everyone that you're mine but I can't and it frustrates me that you're not mine and Jae..." he paused to catch his breath.
"It may not have been love at first sight but the moment I saw the real you, that person inside your tough, bitchy exterior, when you yelled at me at our first date and when you took care of me during camp; I couldn't help but fall fast," he took a large intake of air before looking at Jaejoong's shocked face. "Please give me chance." He finished and waited for the other to answer.
"Yunho..."
Silence.
Yunho waited patiently for Jaejoong to answer, he was sure that break time was over by now but he couldn't care less. He walked closer and leaned forward.
"I'll take silence as a yes," he said before leaning closer. Jaejoong yelped and brought his hands up to cover his mouth.
"Just because you confessed in an awesome way and took my silence as a yes doesn't mean that you get to kiss me... are you really serious?" His words were slightly muffled by his hands but Yunho understood them clearly.
The taller man sighed and took out his cellphone, showing Jaejoong his contact list. He went in the folder that was labelled 'Girls' and started deleting them one by one in front of Jaejoong. After a minute of that, he scrolled down the list and let out an annoyed grunt when he realized that there were still a lot so he just pressed the 'Delete All' button before putting the phone away.
"All gone, I have no more social life outside of our friends and my old friends. Sincere enough?" He reached out to pull Jaejoong's hands away from the man's face but Jaejoong resisted. "Come on Jae! I wanna replace our first kiss- "
"That wasn't even a kiss you moron!"
"Fine see! We haven't kissed yet and you're about to be my boyfriend!" Yunho reached out again and pulled at Jaejoong's hands gently.
"Yah who said anything about being boyfriends!" Jaejoong let his hands be pulled as Yunho leaned down, stopping an inch away from Jaejoong's face.
"I did." And with that, he captured Jaejoong's cherry lips into his own, entwining their hands together at both sides. The kiss was sweet and innocent, no tongues or any trace of aggressiveness involved. Jaejoong closed his eyes and kissed back. They both stayed in that position, feeling each other's soft lips against their own before Yunho pulled away to move his head and kissed Jaejoong again, pressing harder while Jaejoong tilted his head up, pressing back just as much. They both pulled away after a while and kissed again for the last time before stopping to look at one another.
"So..." Yunho smiled and inwardly gushed as Jaejoong looked down, a thumb between his lips.
"I- err kinda... I kinda really like you too." Jaejoong whispered, his cheeks dusted with cherry blossoms as he bit on his thumb more.
Yunho squeezed him in his arms gleefully and smiled into Jaejoong's hair.
"See? Couple's Day isn't that bad," Yunho chuckled when he felt a light tap on his chest. "So... any plans on Saturday? Eleven o'clock?"
"Hmm, no why?"
"It's a date then," he pulled away and grinned at his- yes, his Jaejoong cheerfully.
"Yah, you didn't even ask me!"
"Okay, wanna go out with me?"
"...yes."
"See! You accepted anyways, I just sped up the process." Jaejoong laughed, brown eyes twinkling as he lightly smacked his new boyfriend's arm.
"Where are you taking me?" he asked as they finally decided to walk back to school.
"That... is a secret." Yunho winked.
They were a rumor come true.

"Nooooooo!" Yunho stared at his phone as if it was the only thing that kept him alive. He should've just asked Jaejoong where he wanted to go. Damn him and his pride.

Jaejoong sat back on his bed and took out a thick notebook under the mattress. He flipped the pages to find an empty one, scanning some entries in the process. The titles ranged from 'Can you believe they think I'm player?' from four years ago, to 'Terror moms' from a few days ago. He smiled and grabbed a pen, spotting a blank page and scribbling a quick title to his new entry.
'Jung Yunho and Kim Jaejoong fell irrevocably in like with each other ^_~'

I threw in my ninja pairings all over this chappie so I guess you guys pretty much have an idea who else I ship haha XD
I think this would be the first and last time that they'd appear though :/ or maybe they would appear in later chapters but they'd be so ninja you wouldn't even notice them hehe
